Outpost Omega (Omega Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
Life's not going as planned on Earth Prime. Wil's lost his job, his living quarters, and the love of his life. Now all he wants is to get as far away as possible from his problems.
Wil takes a sub-level military job as a night watchman patrolling the farthest end of the galaxy. He sits, watches, and waits. Alone, except for a robot and a contraband dog. Nothing ever happens at the farthest reach of the universe.
Until it does.
What starts out as an escape from life ends up thrusting Wil into the middle of an alien invasion and a war that will end the universe.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2019We have three main characters. A human, a computer bot and a dog. They are guarding earth space always on the alert for invaders and or space garbage. Think mall cop in space..... with a dog. Not the usual Sci-Fi here but a constant give and take between the human and the bot as to any and everything...including if the dog is a real dog (forbidden by the space agency) and a new prototype Bio-AI capable of leaving brown and yellow "code" all over the ship. Nothing heavy here but good for a laugh or two.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2020This was a fun and a little bit weird read some things didn't quite add up and weren't quite right but I think they get where they're coming from it was funny and left us with a cliffhanger I'm very interested in reading the next book
- Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2018A quick read about a man and his dog, "Bio-AI", as well as a curmudgeonly robot stuck out in the galactic frontier. Filled with quirky humor and 20th century cultural references, it was a fun, light read. It did end suddenly, at a sort-of cliffhanger.
SPOILERS below:
Am hoping for a sequel, to help explain a sudden appearance as well as the military stand-off. Is she deal or an alien mask? Where the heck did they end up at?
- Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2018Liked the story, characters were good. When I got to the end. wow, no ending. I wouldn’t mind a continuation series, if there was I would rate it a 5 star.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2019Outpost Omega has an annoying robot who bothered both Wil and me. Then again it does add comic relief. After loosing everything except Poka his dog, Wil is stuck in the middle of the end of the galaxy in a job that he worries could be given to a robot. Until the appearance of a strange object that is both alien and unidentifiable which may or may not be alive. As Wil tries to discover what it is the fleet comes to take over the operation and now we may learn just how dangerous this object could be. Who knows what will happen next?
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2018I am disabled and read a lot, I mean two to three books a day a lot, and this is this is the first revenue I've taken the time to write. The humorous banter in this book had me laughing out loud and reading excerpts to my husband because I just had to share. I hope the story continues, I haven't checked for a sequel yet, if not please write one!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2018A very different type of sci-fi novel that was quite captivating and amusingly contrived. A man, with dog and a robot, acting as a night watchman in the depths of space. While it was a standalone read, it ended in way which invites a sequel. Here’s hoping 😉

5.0 out of 5 stars Sometimes space craziness is a bonus
This is an excellent boo, a bit slow starting but don't that out you off reading it. It has everything, space, robots aliens and a single human trying to save the planet. Watching for space anomalies is a boring but essential job, sometimes it needs to be done. When an alien object appears that drains power and turns turns into his late girlfriend, there is confrontation on many levels. Then an alien fleet appear followed by an Earth Prime fleet so firing on the station.
Needing to be safe Wil decided to ask the alien to keep them alive and they disappear, only to appear somewhere else.
An excellent read for all Sci-Fi lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars An oddly satisfying book
A man escaping his memories takes a long term job in space as a sentinel protecting earth. With him is a robot and an illicit dog. No - make that a bio-AI. Much of the book details the ingenious ways he persuades the robot to break the rules. The robot is the straight guy in what could be a comedy duo.
All goes erratically well until the unthinkable happens. Earth really does face a threat and the robot isn't convinced.
It kept my attention to a climatic end and left me waiting for the next book.
