A contemporary, romantic comedy. After being ticketed by Officer Cooper Hill, Abigail Apple arrives at the restaurant to find he's her blind date. When she learns he's the chair of a committee overseeing the selection of a fund for charities, she decides his first impressions of her need to be repaired. Anything to help her favorite dog rescue charity.

Miscommunication and rigid personalities play prominent roles in the drama of this opposites attract romance. Nevertheless, both characters grow enough to provide a pleasant ending.

This book had me laughing from the very first page! Abigail Apple’s personality is so ridiculously funny and so fun to read about. Though there wasn’t as much humor towards the end of the book, I still enjoyed the fun.

I enjoyed the relationship between Abigail and Cooper. They were two opposites that somehow fit together perfectly. And Cooper…ah, what an amazing man he is! He is so incredibly sweet and wants to help Abigail even when she is horrible to him. He is solid (and it doesn’t help that he is an attractive cop either)! :)

I recommend this book to all those wanting a clean, fun read that will have you laughing one moment and swooning the next!

CONTENT: Clean and Proper (mild kissing, no language or intimacy). I’m pretty strict and I would be okay with my teenager reading this book. :)

This is Abigail and Cooper's story. Abigail had some bad news dumped on her, she was running late for a blind date and was pulled over for speeding. Officer Cooper did not care about these things. Abigail makes it her date rendezvous only to find it is with Office Cooper. Abigail finds out that Office Cooper is the committee for a donation to a charity. So does she get close to him for the donation to the refuge or because of who he is? I found humor at times and the quirkiness of Abigail added to the story. It is a good story with good characters and well written. I would recommend this book.

I get that Abigail is the type that thinks with her heart, but with how often that she mentions she used to go to law school, you would think she has SOME ability to think things through. But no, it's one bad, emotional decision after another until Cooper gets sick in the crossfire.

Time flew by as I read this book. Can a ditzy women who volunteers at a dog rescue farm attract a handsome cop who does things by the book? Cooper stops Abigail Adams for speeding and gives her a ticket. Not long after she sees him again as her blind date.

It’s a cute story involving lots of dogs and good friends that take care of each other.

Enjoy reading this sweet story.

The H was a police officer, very by-the-book, rule follower, robotic, etc. The h works in a pet store and volunteers at a dog rescue.
The MC's couldn't be anymore different.
Again, this book was cute and is good enough to read once.

Abigail helps Cooper let down his walls and have a little fun. Cooper confides about his past with Abigail. These two seem like opposites, but really have a lot in common. Once Abigail gets out of her head and realizes she doesn't want to lose Cooper things get better with these two!
